KOPJ was officially dedicated and On the Air November 5, 2005

At last we are on the air

November 5, 2005 -- KOPJ was dedicated in a short service at the Park Rapids SDA Church this afternoon.  Speakers included the president of Lifetalk Radio Network, Steve Gallimore, and the Mayor of Park Rapids.  Also present were the Maplewood Academy Choraliers who provided a short concert of Sacred songs.  

Following the dedication a ribbon cutting ceremony was conducted at the station's studio at 200 S Main St, Park Rapids, MN.

KOPJ broadcasts programming that originates with the Lifetalk Radio Network out of Chattanooga, TN.   Tune in anywher in North Central Minnesota to 89.3 FM.  We broadcast from a 400 ft tower in Leeder, MN with 100,000 watts of effective power.
